There are few tips that can be applied in our daily life.
First and foremost, wake up early, and perform our Fajr' prayer on time. It has been proven scientifically that taking ablution early in the morning helps to refresh our mind. The act of Ruku' and Sujud would stimulate the blood flow to our brain, hence increase our level of alertness.

Secondly, after praying, feel ease to do some light exercise, just to get our body generate some energy early in the morning, perhaps this will help the blood flow in the body, most importantly, we'll feel most alert and active.
Next, eat healthy meal. early in the morning, do not burden our stomach with heavy meals, as this will cause the body to supply more energy to the gastrointestinal track in order to digest them. This in turn will make us feel sleepy early in the morning, especially as it gets to 10 am, unlucky enough, you'll end up an early DOZE OFF..!!
Instead, it is advicable that you take cereals with milk, as they are high in carbohydrates, fibres, and calcium, this will help digestion process, and most importantly, they provide you with energy, just enough to provide you an active day.
Another sunnah that is very helpful for us is to take a 5 minutes of nap before Zohor prayer, which is also known as Qailulah. This short sleep will help us to feel more fresh after lunch, and most importantly, it helps us to wake up at night for night prayer; Qiamullail.
During lunch, we should not eat with our full desire for the food, instead, we should be more relax and try not to put a pile of food on the plate. this will cause our body to consume much more food than we actually need. Instead, our Prophet pbuh had given us a very useful advice, eat only when you are hungry, and stop before you feel full. Well, ofcourse we will find it difficult to stop eating before we actually feel full. Hence, what we can do is to have a 10 minutes interval between meals. What is meant here is that when you have finished your first meal, do not directly eat the next, instead it is advicable to wait for 10 minutes, wait for the food to reach the stomach, then you will start to feel full. Unless if you are still feeling hungry, do not force yourself, just eat the meal, instead, slowly reduce the amount day by day. One tip is to reduce a portion of 1/30 a day, hence, by a month, your have actually reduced the amount of meal taken in a month, not really drastic isn't it?
As for now, thats are all the tips on being a productive Muslim.
Hope all of us can take note from this post, and can try to change ourselves into a productive Muslim.
